What other careers are there in the industry to pursue? There is definitely more to the motorsport industry than just engineering. Among other areas, there are marketing, commercial, PR and a wider variety of operational  roles, all of which require employees who are experts in their field and equally passionate about their work. Most business related degrees do not cover topics such as motorsport. How can students prove their business skills to an employer like Manor Racing? A motorsport  background in business related areas is not essential, and similarly, students can prove their business skills by demonstrating excellent results in areas of finance and commerce. Also, previous experience of demonstrating their experience and knowledge in a fast paced working environment is extremely attractive as well. Networking is a scary concept to a lot of students. What are your top tips on making a good impression in the motorsport industry? Do your homework and show that you have a passion for this industry. There is a lot of information available on the Internet about how the motorsport industry is evolving. You should also try exploring  the history and set up of individual teams.
